Van crashes into art school

And now, after much waiting, the next instance of a vehicle assault on a building.

From KSAT-12:

SAN ANTONIO -- A minivan crashed into the side of a downtown building Friday.

The female driver told police that she lost control of the vehicle after the steering wheel malfunctioned and hit the side of the Southwest School of Art & Craft at 1201 Navarro St.

The driver and two children who were buckled in the back of the van are OK.

Glad to see everyone came out OK, including the art school.

I suspect that had there been an art school closer to the Highway 90/Gen McMullen area, the van would have made more of an impact. Vehicles hate houses on that side of town, and I suspect art schools are equally offensive over there.

Perhaps the vehicles are expanding their realm of carnage.

What amazed me about this one was...the kids were still strapped into their car seats when the media cameras got there!

Awww, gotta love the police scanners.
