"$170K worth of fireworks stolen in Bexar County "

Be wary of that homemade fireworks stand on the side of the road. Those boom-booms just might be a little hot.
"It's extremely frustrating, you're trying to survive in this heat, setting everything up, and to have a setback like this. It is extremely frustrating," said E.J. Cheney with Boom! Fireworks.

His business reported two burglaries within the last month to Bexar County authorities. Cheney said more than three truckloads of fireworks were stolen on the city's south side of town, from locked shipping containers. The theft cost the firework stand $170,000 dollars.
