Part of a upper level storm system over the Rocky Mountains will move eastward into Texas. It will help draw moisture from the Pacific Ocean over our area.(from KSAT-12)
This will also enhance lift in the atmosphere causing precipitation to fall. Since we are below freezing at the surface and aloft in the atmosphere most of the precipitation will fall in the form of snow.

Probably won't happen, but the girls are having fun with superstitions to ensure it does. So if we get hit by a blizzard, you know why.
