Car almost crashes into house

Lightweight.
San Antonio Police report they are still searching for a young man who bailed out of a vehicle after it almost crashed into a house at the corner of Harwood and Buckeye.

Instead, the small, two-door car slammed into a red truck parked outside the bedroom where homeowner Ernest Montez said he and his wife were resting.
(from KSAT-12)

The automobiles are starting to lose their mojo. Not only are they missing their domicile targets (apparently), now they are also bungling their attacks to the point of harming their own. It's a shame, really.

Bonus strangeness: Someone who obviously does not know their firearms.
[Officer Matt Porter, SAPD spokesman,] also said a rifle or shotgun was recovered at the scene.
Who do you think couldn't tell the difference, cop or reporter?

(One of those choices is a pretty safe bet!)
