H-E-B is betting Texas consumers will opt for a home state favorite.
The grocery chain announced Tuesday that it would begin selling ketchup and mustard branded by Whataburger, which like H-E-B is headquartered in San Antonio. Starting this summer, the fancy and spicy ketchup varieties will be on H-E-B shelves in 20-ounce bottles and the original mustard in 16-ounce bottles.

Not that I think the mustard and ketchup will taste any different than other varieties (except for the spicy ketchup, maybe), but I just like Whataburger. And seeing the familiar orange and white stripes brings to mind so many yummy memories.
Now, if HEB would just start selling Whataburger onion rings ......

Oh man, my daughter's head is going to explode when she finds out she can buy that spicy ketchup at HEB.
I love the idea of buying my own spicy ketchup an embarrassing amount. And they are finally making it permanent in the restaurants too! I have zero use for non-spicy ketchup, but that spicy stuff is another deal altogether.
We have several out of state friends that are already placing orders. And I'm with you on the onion rings. Love those onion rings.
