Someone who should think a little more about technology

Hahahahahaha!
Officers asked [Jeremey Thomas] to come with them to a home in the 4700 block of Casa Espana, where he found several detectives and piles of stolen belongings.

"Found the checkbook, really didn't find anything else," Thomas said.

It turned out Thomas was one of at least two people who had their vehicles stolen by two men.

But it was what they stole from inside the vehicles that ended up getting them caught.

Officers tracked the two burglars down by the locator on a stolen iPad.

They then called the number of one of the phones that had been stolen.

It was in the suspects pocket, ringing.
