Losing control

How freakin' fast do you need to be going for this to happen?

Carlos Cardenas with the San Antonio Fire Department Rescue Station 51 said that the driver was headed west on the access road of 1604 when he lost control, ran off the road through two pillars under the 1604 overpass and then up an incline until he got stuck right under the highway.

Rescue crews from the Shavano Park Fire Department and the San Antonio Fire Department both responded to get the driver out.

The 51-year-old driver is was taken to the hospital and is expected to be okay.
(from KSAT-12)

Another news report said the driver might have been going about 100 mph at the time of the accident. So, that's how fast.

Bonus strangeness: The guy wasn't hurt that bad! He's expected to be OK! Though I bet he needs some new pants after this one.

Yikes! The amazing thing is, there were no injured homeless people in this crash.
