A taco truck was the target, literally, of a robber Sunday morning.(from KSAT-12)
Police say a man in his 20's tried to rob the truck in the 1400 block of Culebra.
But when he wasn't able to score any cash, the would-be robber fired a shot inside the truck, police say.
The bullet struck a wall, ricocheted and fell onto the taco truck grill.
It's funny (and fortunate!) that the bullet landed on the grill and gave the police a nice piece of evidence. But do you know what's weirder? The robber couldn't get any money.
Why no money? The news story doesn't say, but I truly wonder why the bad guy went away empty handed. Did the owner refuse to hand over the money, or was there no cash at all in the vehicle? If so, I'd be a little leery of that taco truck. You know, the one that can't sell a taco.
