A woman driving a Ford Mustang was traveling south on SW 34th Street when she attempted to turn on Motes Drive at a high rate of speed and lost control of her vehicle, traffic investigators said. The car went barreling through a fence and into a home at the 600 block of SW 34th Street.(from MySA.com)
A man who was sitting on a couch inside the home was apparently struck, and he was taken to a local hospital with minor injuries.
That's one ambitious auto.

A fence, the house and a dude on the couch. 3 points.
Ouch. That must have come as quite a shock to the guy in the couch. It's kinda hard to expect a car to come bursting in... Well, I hope he's all right.
Yikes! Talk about an unfortunate turn of events. I hope the guy on the couch is doing okay, so as the driver. An accident like that is truly hard to forget.
A muscle car like the Ford Mustang requires good handling skills to able to drive it efficiently. I wish that the woman will learn the lesson from this incident. It’s good that the man only sustained minor injuries despite the impact from that car crash.
The man must be really lucky for only getting minor injuries, but I think it really had a big impact, emotionally. Like what Dave said, people wouldn’t expect a car to come crashing into your house. Other people who’d find themselves in the same situation sometimes get traumatized. During times like this, it’s just really right to ask for compensation for all the damages caused.
There’s also an incident like this that happened in our area last week – a car crashed through a convenience store. Poor driver. He doesn’t only have to face the liability towards the accident, but also the lawsuit being filed against him as he was busted for drunk driving.
Of course, anyone who will go through incident like this will be left shocked. Others may think that it’s quite impossible for a car to hit a house or an establishment, but with the number of reckless drivers on the road, you shouldn’t be surprised if accidents like this happen. Heavier penalties should be enforced so that those drivers can learn their lesson!
