Teaching you ...

... how to use a door.

In all fairness, the door seems to have some kind of automatic function for people in wheelchairs, and apparently it can be activated by simply pulling on the door.

But, still, the little blue sign is a bit surprising in its obviousness.

haha It would bite if you couldn't read... or at that... if you couldn't read English... However, notice that they can tell people in 2 languages not to bring weapons inside...!

I've always questioned the need for these little signs telling you not to bring guns into the store. Why not place a sign on the door that reads, "No Hold-ups". I can just imagine a guy intent on robbing a store seeing a sign that says "no guns" or "no knives" rethinking his strategy; perhaps even consulting with the store clerk as to which weapons are authorized before proceeding to ask for all the cash. With a No Hold-ups sign, robbers will know that regardless of weapons choice, this is not a place to rob.

I'm also thinking of a sign for the front of my house: No Vehicles Slamming into House. This might be useful for homes throughout San Antonio.

I'm just waiting for the "10 Items or Less" signs to start taking effect.
