More Mexican candy recalled

More candy from Mexico is being recalled due to concerns over lead. For the third time!

From KSAT-12:

AUSTIN, Texas -- Another Mexican candy is being recalled due to elevated levels of lead that could cause health problems.

The Texas Department of State Health Services said a San Antonio company voluntarily recalled a third candy imported from Mexico.

Villa-Mex Imports recalled Miguelito Azucar Salada Enchilada Acidulada.

The candy is a reddish powder in a clear cellophane packet with blue lettering.

...

Villa-Mex earlier voluntarily recalled Barrilito and Tarritos.

It's almost as if lead was a seasoning. Villa-Mex needs to put forth some serious public relations efforts.

I think this is all a conspiracy to give the next generation a story to tell their kids of how bad things were growing up.

You know, our parents complained that when they were kids, they had to walk to school in the snow, barefoot.

Today's youth will report to their youngin's that they were forced to play with Chinese toys and eat Mexican candies, both full of lead.
