Two women accused of forcing other women into prostitution were sentenced this week.
Isabel Consuelo Ochoa and her daughter, Consuelo Pilar Ochoa, pled guilty to bringing teens from Nuevo Laredo to work as prostitutes in the San Antonio area.
According to News Radio 1200 WOAI, Isabel Ochoa, was released with time served, and was placed on probation. Her daughter, Consuelo Ochoa, received a year and a half sentence, plus another three years for drug possession.

Sorry for the off-topic comment, but did you catch the WOAI report on the UFO sighting?
Yeah, I saw that. I thought about posting the UFO story, but Stephenville is pretty far away from San Antonio.
On the other hand, you did remind me of this, a paranormal investigation in Boerne. My favorite line from the story comes when the group finishes investigating the public library for ghosts and states this: "'We don't say that the Boerne Library is haunted, we say that we certify that it has everyday paranormal activity,' explained [Brad] Klinge."
Unexplained and far from normal, but "everyday" nonetheless. Oh well, poor Boerne just can't work up a ghost that's remotely interesting.

Wow, I missed that one. We don't get too many UFO sightings around here, although I imagine that's largely because we have three very active military bases. It's not that unusual to see things flying in the air, whether they are little trainers, fighters on patrol, or the lumbering C-5s that are always flying over my neck of the woods.
Hmmm, given that the WOAI story mentioned that all the sightings took place on the same night as the Stephenville sightings, I wonder the UFOs were the result some kind of coordinated Air Force exercise.
