A torched Christmas tree sent people scrambling from a Denny's restaurant early Sunday and investigators say the fire was no accident.(from KSAT-12)
The fire happened at the Denny's near 35 and Rittiman just after 3:30 a.m.
Investigators say it appears someone set the restaurant's Christmas tree ablaze.

Having been to that Denny's, I'll go out on a limb and say it was a customer trying to get their server's attention. (Well, this is actually probably true of any Denny's, now that I think about it.)
