Reinstalling a statue

I had wondered what happened to that statue.
The missing statue of Ernani "Nani" Falcone is back where it belongs.

City leaders and friends of Falcone gathered Saturday morning to rededicate the statue at the spot where it had disappeared more than a year ago.

Someone took the statue honoring the late parks and neighborhood advocate, and no one knew where it was, who took it, or why.

But friends said a city park policeman recently stumbled upon the statue while helping other officers search for a robbery suspect.

That find led to the Saturday ceremony and replacing of "Nani" at the Mystic Park spot where it was first dedicated more than four years ago.
(from KSAT-12)

Good to hear it's back. But I wonder where it was all this time.

Judging by the statue it was probably just... sitting around.
