I think I remember that.
When I was a teenager, as a school project, we tried to get a pedestrian bridge built between North Star Mall and the then Central Park Mall. We took our proposal to City Hall. Some people go so excited about it they even proposed putting a monorail around the two malls, but it never happened. Maybe they remembered this accident.
