Its sick but true and a very narcissistic move. We call them goones. One of these "goones" murder my 20 year old son. I am waiting for the day they arrest the person; whether they smile or not...Ill be happy that they justice will finally be servedAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-24869193.post-52831788612444939282010-12-31T09:47:04.736-06:002010-12-31T09:47:04.736-06:00It sounds as though Anonymous is claiming that mug...It sounds as though Anonymous is claiming that mug shots are repurposed driver's license photos. Because, you know, a photo you had taken 5 years ago is a highly accurate representation of who you are now, or accurate enough for the police, anyway.

And yeah, I think it's a bit scary too. Narcissism? Or a reflexive "smile for the camera"? I'm thinking for the second guy it's the first thing. "LOOK MOM, I'M ON TV!" Some folks will take their 15 minutes however.Sabrahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13746486966764162127noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-24869193.post-4512870861844765702010-12-30T23:36:50.085-06:002010-12-30T23:36:50.085-06:00Those are from your driver's license picture.
...Those are from your driver's license picture.

Really? Are you freakin' serious? Do you really think the second picture is from a driver's license? It was taken as they were leading the suspect out of the police station ---- after arresting him for murder!

As for the first picture, I'll concede that that might be from the suspect's driver's license, but I doubt it. Television news outlets (if they haven't already captured video of their own) try to get the mug shot that was taken of the suspect at the booking. This is a public document, so it is easily obtainable by the media, and it provides the most recent picture of the person arrested, not one that was taken possibly years ago.

So, I'm guessing that's actually a mug shot.Albatrosshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02156254141379602471noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-24869193.post-83506327836968609872010-12-30T23:17:20.387-06:002010-12-30T23:17:20.387-06:00Those are from your driver's license picture. ...Those are from your driver's license picture.
